Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Items left on buses, trains, trams, and taxis around Fayetteville are usually handed in to the operator's lost property team — the trick is contacting the right one quickly.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for Fayetteville in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost holiday decorations near Dickson Street, Fayetteville.

I’m Olivia Martin. On Monday at 7:25 p.m., after decorating for our neighborhood block party, I realized a box of holiday decorations was missing from my car parked near the Fayetteville Downtown Square on Dickson Street. The box contained glass garlands and a string of warm white lights. I drove around the square and nearby side streets but couldn’t locate it. These decorations mean a lot to our family, and I’m hoping someone picked it up and left it somewhere safe. If you saw anything around Dickson Street or the Square area, please tell through the site.

LOST radios near Old Main Lawn, U of Arkansas

Yesterday around 3:20 p.m., I was walking across the University of Arkansas campus and must have set my radios on a bench near the Old Main Lawn while I chatted with a friend. By the time I finished talking, they were LOST. The pair are small, silver with black trim, a dent on the one corner and a faded sticker on the back. I rely on them for late-night practice sessions, and losing them is really stressing me out. If you found them, please know they belong to me and I am hoping for a kind reunion.

Blue enamel mug with heart decal and chip

I lost my blue enamel mug yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on West Dickson Street in Fayetteville. It's a small 8 oz mug with a glossy blue glaze and a noticeable chip on the rim. There’s a hand-painted white heart near the sturdy metal handle, and the inside has tea stains from years of daily use. It’s sentimental to me because it was a gift from my sister, and I’d really appreciate getting it back. If you found it, you can reach me at [email protected].

Grey JBL Flip 5 speaker, lost near Fayetteville Library

I lost my grey JBL Flip 5 speaker yesterday around 3pm near the Fayetteville Public Library on Dickson Street. It's a compact, cylindrical speaker about the size of a soda can, with a matte gray body and a lighter gray top. There's a small dent on the bottom edge and a red sticker with the initials 'ML' on the back. It was a gift from my sister, so it has sentimental value and I really need it back. If anyone found it, I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back; I can meet by the library entrance to pick it up or arrange a time here in the app.

Blue Nike running shorts with lime drawstring

I lost my blue Nike running shorts yesterday around 3pm on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, near the Arkansas Union on West Avenue. They're size M, navy blue with a neon lime drawstring, built-in mesh liner, and a small Razorback logo heat-pressed on the lower right hem. They’re in good condition—just a bit sweaty from a long run. They also have sentimental value; they were a gift from my sister, and I really need them back for my daily workouts. If you found them, drop me a message here so we can figure out how to get them back.

Black Akai MPK Mini MKII MIDI keyboard

I lost my black Akai MPK Mini MKII MIDI keyboard yesterday around 3pm near the Fayetteville Public Library on Mountain Street, after a quick practice session in the alley behind the library's main entrance. It's a compact 25-key USB controller with eight small pads; the pads are orange and there's a small purple sticker on the back near the USB port. The case is a bit worn with light scuffing on the edges and there's a coffee ring on the bottom edge from a late café run. I rely on it for my home studio projects, and it has sentimental value as part of my ongoing music project, so I'm hoping to get it back soon. If found, please drop it at the Fayetteville Town Center desk or message me; I'd be forever grateful.
