Description
I left a large duffel bag full of sports gear by the Elmira College gym after practice around 3:20 p.m. Sunday, along Main Street near the riverfront. Inside are a basketball, two tennis rackets, a soccer ball, shin guards, and a whistle. The gear is tied to months of practices and a few friendships built on the field, so losing it stings more than I care to admit. If you happened to find it lounging by the path, I’d be grateful to hear that it’s safe.
