On Sunday around 7:45 p.m., I was sorting through my grandmother's stamp album at my Burlington apartment when a sleeve of valuable stamps vanished from a glassine envelope. I had them on the coffee table by the window, the light catching the glass as the room grew quiet. I worry some are irreplaceable, with 1920s commemoratives and faded cancels that tell stories of trips abroad.
