Lost leashes in Eastern Colorado

I’m Ava Brooks, a dog owner living in Eastern Colorado. I lost two leashes last Friday around 8:15 p.m. after a short walk along Highway 287 near Bent’s Old Fort, by the Arkansas River. A gust tugged them from my wrist as I stepped into a shady picnic area, and they likely slid behind a bench or into the undergrowth by the trailhead. One leash is blue with a white paw print; the other is black with a green stripe. They’re well-used and remind me of my sister’s gift. I’m hoping they’re still somewhere close and safe, not swept away by the wind.

Lost board games in Eastern Colorado

I’m a parent with a couple of kids; I left my bag of board games at City Park in Burlington, Colorado, in Eastern Colorado on Sunday around 4:15 PM. We had been playing near the gazebo and a sudden breeze sent the bags off the table, and by the time we realized, the games were gone.
