Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Items left on buses, trains, trams, and taxis around East Oregon are usually handed in to the operator's lost property team — the trick is contacting the right one quickly.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for East Oregon in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

LOST pins near Pendleton Round-Up arena

Hi there, I’m Jordan Reed. I LOST a small set of pins during a walk last Friday around 6:15 p.m. I must have dropped them somewhere between the Pendleton Round-Up arena and the clock tower along Main Street in East Oregon. The pins are a mixed bunch: a tiny enamel pin with a blue star, a silver compass pin, and a little souvenir pin from a cafe we visited on a road trip. They’re sentimental to me—one pin was a gift from my grandmother, and the others remind me of a trip with my sister. If you saw them, I’d be grateful for any help.

Lost Coins from grandfather in East Oregon downtown

I was at East Oregon's Main Street Market around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday when I realized my Coins tin was missing. The tin held my grandfather's coins, including a few 1940s pieces and a couple of commemoratives, all wrapped in a green velvet pouch. It meant a lot to me, and the dented lid and the smell of aged copper still linger in my memory. If you found a coin tin like this in East Oregon, please connect through the site so I can be reunited with them.

Lost CDs near Pendleton Amtrak stop.

I lost my CDs at about 3:30 PM on Saturday near a coffee shop on Main Street in Pendleton, East Oregon. I had left a tote on a chair while I ran inside for a quick phone call. When I returned, the tote and the CDs were gone. The discs are a mix of classic rock and folk, with some hand-written labels inside the sleeves. They remind me of road trips through East Oregon with my family, and I am really hoping they turn up. If you found a small bundle of blue CD cases, please keep them safe.

Lost sheet music in East Oregon area

Friday at 7:15 p.m., I was rehearsing at the East Oregon Community Center, just off Main Street, when my sheet music for the recital vanished from the chair by the piano. The pages were a slim stack with a bright red bookmark sticking out, and they held every marking I’d practiced for weeks. I’ve retraced my steps through the lobby and the small cafe next door, but I haven’t turned them up yet and I’m worried about losing the notes. If you found them, please message me through the site so I can get them back to the stage.

Black Sony XM4 headphones with red case

I’m hoping someone picked up my Black Sony XM4 wireless headphones yesterday around 3:15pm near the East Oregon Public Library on Main Street. They’re over-ear, matte black, and come with a slim red fabric carrying case tucked inside the main zipper pocket. There’s a small dent on the right ear cup and a rocket sticker on the headband—easy to spot if you remember seeing something with a tiny space-themed sticker. They were a gift from my sister and mean a lot to me beyond the tech; I really need them back for work and classes. If you found them, please reach out so we can arrange a quick handoff near the library or at the East Oregon Mall parking lot.

Blue passport in black leather sleeve

I'm missing my blue US passport in a black leather sleeve with a gold eagle crest. I last had it yesterday around 3pm near the East Oregon University Library on College Street, just outside the main entrance. The cover shows some wear, there's a tiny dent on the lower right corner, and the sleeve has a small coffee stain on the back. Inside the sleeve is a lighthouse sticker I stuck there years ago—this passport means a lot to me and I really need it back.
