Yesterday at 11:20 a.m., I was walking along Commercial Street toward the V&A Dundee when I realized my postcards from our Glasgow trip were missing from my tote. They’re a neat stack of cream cards, some with seaside photos, tied with a faded blue ribbon. My grandmother used to send me cards from every holiday, and losing them feels like a piece of home slipping away.
