Found adapters in a blue pouch along Riverwalk, Danville

I’m Cameron Reed. While walking my dog along the Danville Riverwalk Trail near the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research around 6:30 p.m., I spotted a small blue pouch sitting on a bench. Inside were several adapters—USB-C and USB-A types—mostly black, with a red tab and a label that read Adapters. I’ve left them where they were so the owner can claim them through the site, since that’s how this works here. If you recognize your stuff by the pouch and the little red tab, you know these belong to you.

Found radios on Danville Riverwalk

I found these radios this morning near the Riverwalk Trail entrance off Main Street in downtown Danville. There are two handheld models, one black and one gray, both a bit scratched but functioning. Found Danville University student ID near Library on Oak Ave

I found a Danville University student ID card this afternoon around 4:15pm outside the Danville Public Library on Oak Avenue. It's Elena Park's blue ID with her photo on the front and a small holographic university seal, still attached to a blue lanyard with a silver compass charm. There's a faint coffee stain on the lower edge and the back lists Biology, Class of 2026, with an ID number ending 4021. If this belongs to you or you know Elena, please reach out.

Cockatiel with yellow head found in Danville

I found a cockatiel this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the Riverside Bakery on Main Street in Danville. It’s about 12 inches tall from head to tail, mostly gray with a bright yellow crest and orange cheeks. It’s wearing a small blue leg band on the right leg and has a slightly clipped wing from a past tumble, which makes it look a bit shy when I get close. It perched on a lamppost for a minute, then hopped onto the bench and seemed eager to chirp at passing people. I didn’t see a cage or an owner nearby, but I’d love to help get this bird back to its person; if anyone recognizes it, please reach out so we can reunite them.

I found a black floor-length evening gown yesterday around 6pm behind the Danville Public Library on Oak Avenue. It's a Calista Couture, size 6, made of satin with a slim silver beaded belt at the waist and a small rhinestone brooch on the left strap. It's in great condition, just a light wrinkle and a faint lipstick smudge on the inner lining, and the care tag reads Calista Couture with initials KJ. I found a beige Michael Kors tote near the Danville Town Center, outside Green Cup Café on Main Street, yesterday around 6:15 pm. It’s a medium-sized tan leather bag with gold hardware and a cream floral-patterned lining. The outside has a tiny coffee stain on the bottom corner and a small scratch on the front, which make it a little unique. A pink tassel keychain is clipped to the zipper pull, so it’s easy to spot.
