Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for Corpus Christi in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost DVDs near Bayfront Plaza in Corpus Christi.

Today at around 9:45 a.m., I was loading groceries into my SUV near Bayfront Plaza when a tote tipped and my DVDs spilled onto the pavement, and by the time I turned around, they were gone in a few seconds. The collection includes family favorites and a couple of vintage titles my grandfather loved. I had wrapped them in a blue cloth with a red strap; one case has a sticker with 'Family Classics' on the spine. I've retraced my steps along Ocean Drive and the marina, but nothing turned up. If you found them, please contact me through the site so we can arrange a meetup. I’m in Corpus Christi, Texas, and these mean a lot to me.

Lost belts in Corpus Christi, TX

I lost two belts this afternoon around 5:10 PM while strolling the Corpus Christi Seawall along Ocean Drive, near the American Bank Center. They are simple black leather belts, one with a slightly scraped buckle, the other tucked in a small zippered pouch from a day at the bay. I wore them during a quick walk to catch the sunset, and when I sat briefly on a bench, they disappeared from my tote. They mean a lot to me because one was a gift from my dad, and I am hoping someone who finds them will return them through the site.

Lost sports equipment near USS Lexington

Hi, I am Diego Morales, and around 6:45 p.m. last Friday I realized my sports equipment was missing from a gym bag left near the Marina by the USS Lexington Museum on the Bay in Corpus Christi. It is a mixed bag: a soccer ball, a couple of tennis rackets, and a dusty old glove set that I use for practice. I have been training for the town league all week, and losing this gear feels frustrating and a bit costly. If you happened to find anything in that area, I would be grateful to have it back.

Blue Yamaha snare drum with sticker

I lost my blue Yamaha snare drum yesterday around 3pm near Bayfront Plaza along Shoreline Boulevard, by the American Bank Center. It's a 14-inch snare with a glossy blue wrap, chrome hardware, and a small rainbow sticker on the shell. There's a dent on the rim from a minor drop last week and the drum key is tucked in the case pocket. This drum has sentimental value—it's what I use for our school jazz ensemble, and I really need it back.

Clear Acuvue Oasys contact lens near CVS, Corpus Christi

I’m posting from Corpus Christi because I’m worried I’ll lose track of it forever. Yesterday around 3pm I was walking along Shoreline Boulevard by the CVS and the Marina, near the American Bank Center. My lens is a single clear Acuvue Oasys daily contact lens, used, and I must have dropped it when I paused to tie my shoe. It’s small and nearly invisible, but if you shine bright light you can see a tiny micro-scratch on the outer edge. I keep my spare in a blue plastic case with my initials 'PP' on the lid, so if you see something with that on it, it might be mine. I really need it back—replacing it is expensive and I can’t drive or work properly without it.

Brown and white beagle mix, lost by bayfront

I lost my brown and white beagle mix yesterday around 5:15pm. He's about 25 pounds, white chest, and a brown patch over his left eye. He’s wearing a red collar with a blue tag that has my name and phone number, and a tiny white scar behind his right ear. I last saw him near the American Bank Center on Staples Street by the Corpus Christi bayfront; he bolted when I stopped to grab a snack at the CVS. I’m really worried—he’s not just a dog, he's my walking buddy and this dog has sentimental value; any sighting helps a lot.
