Lost hats near Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater

Amphitheater entrance Lost listing Posted 7 days ago

Description

On Friday at about 6:30 p.m., after the concert at the Chautauqua Institution Amphitheater, I realized my two hats were gone. One is a navy knitted beanie with a small silver star pin, the other a light gray sunhat with a braided chin strap. I retraced along the lakefront path toward the Amphitheater and back through the lawn by the visitor center, but nothing looked familiar. Those hats aren’t just clothes; they feel like a small piece of the day saved for a breezy evening by the lake, when the air smells of pine and smoke from the bonfire. If someone found them, I’d be grateful to know they’re safe and waiting somewhere near the amphitheater.
