I was at the Alexandria Museum of Art in Central Louisiana around 11:30 a.m. last Thursday, setting up a display and stepping away for a quick break. When I returned, two paintings were gone from the easel by the main entrance. One is a landscape with pine trees and a gray sky; the other is an abstract with cobalt blues and golds swirling across white. They were both framed and tied with a green ribbon.
