Lost microwaves. I was loading groceries in the parking lot behind the Alexandria Riverfront Center in Central Louisiana around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday. The boxes slipped from the back seat and disappeared into the dim evening light as I hurried to grab a bag. I rely on those microwaves for quick meals after late shifts, and I’m worried about keeping up with home cooking without them. I’ve retraced my steps and checked the trunk a dozen times, but they’re gone. If someone happened to find them, I’d be grateful to have them back where they belong.
