I was wandering near Brighton Station around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday when I realized my pocket watch had vanished from my pocket. It’s a silver-cased watch on a thin chain, with the initials JR engraved on the back and a small crack in the glass. The watch belonged to my late grandfather and carries more memory than value. I’d been looking along West Street and The Lanes as the crowds thinned, and I’m hoping it turned up somewhere nearby. If anyone finds it, please keep it safe and let the site know.
