Lost passport containing photo ID while hiking trails near Boone, North Carolina.

I lost my passport while hiking trails near Boone last weekend. I remember taking it out to check my travel plans and must have dropped it somewhere along the path. The passport has my photo inside and is essential for my upcoming trip abroad. If anyone finds it, I'd really appreciate your help in getting it back!
