I found a blue tambourine this morning around 9:20am behind the Sanford Center on 2nd Street NW in Bemidji. It’s about 8 inches in diameter with a bright blue shell, a natural wood rim, and shiny silver jingles that still tinkle when I tap it. There’s a small white sticker on the rim that reads 'Bemidji Beats'—pretty distinctive. It looks like it was just sitting on the ground, a little dusty from the pavement, but otherwise in decent shape. I figured someone might be missing a tiny percussion piece after a rehearsal or jam, and I’d really like to help get it back to its owner. If this tambourine is yours, shoot me a note at [email protected] with a quick description of the sticker or any other identifying marks, and we can meet up near the Sanford Center or at the Bemidji Public Library Lost & Found desk to swap.
