I was walking back from the Ulster Museum area along Donegall Square North at 9:15 pm last Tuesday when I spotted a neat bundle of kitchen appliances sitting on a metal bench near Belfast City Hall. There was a blender, a kettle, and a toaster, all tucked in a blue bag with a note that said Appliances. I checked nearby bins and asked a few passersby, but no one claimed them. I turned them in at the building's lost-and-found desk to keep them safe until the owner shows up. It felt right to step in, and I hope the rightful owner sees this and comes forward soon.
