What to do when you find someone else's property — your responsibilities and how to return it safely.

I found a black Sony ZV-E10 mirrorless camera this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Maryland Science Center at Inner Harbor in Baltimore. It’s in decent shape, a few surface scuffs on the body, and a cracked screen protector in the top-right corner, but the lens seems clean and the sensor looks fine. It’s tucked in a gray neoprene sleeve with a bright Baltimore Orioles sticker on the outside, and a red fabric wrist strap sticks out from the pocket—easy to spot. Black Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses found

I found a pair of black Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses this morning around 9am in the parking lot behind the Baltimore Convention Center off West Pratt Street. The frame is classic black plastic with a few scuffs on the corners, and there’s a tiny scratch on the left lens. Inside the right temple, someone etched the initials 'A.J.'—not mine, so it's a clear clue for the owner. They came with a light gray microfiber pouch with a faded Baltimore skyline print. I’d really like to get them back to their owner.

Found! Pandora charm bracelet cord silver. Found near inner harbor/ harbor East in Baltimore, MD on Sun May 10, 2026. It has few heart and flower charms. It has a name on the heart charm and date(?) on the back of heart charm. Only return to whoever can correctly write the exact name and date on the heart charm, or other proof.

Blue compact umbrella with neon luggage tag

I found a blue compact travel umbrella this afternoon around 2:10pm near the Inner Harbor, by the tourist information center at Light Street and Pratt Street. It's about 8-9 inches folded, with a black wrist strap and a neon green luggage tag clipped to the strap. The canopy is a bright royal blue and there's a tiny scuff along the edge near the tip, but it still opens and closes smoothly. The luggage tag has initials 'JK' written in black marker, so I figured it could help the owner recognize it.

It's a slim 11-inch tablet, and the screen is cracked on the bottom-right corner, with a small 'Baltimore Loves Arts' sticker on the back.
