Red Nike sneakers found near Walmart on Lake Rd

Found a pair of red Nike running shoes this afternoon around 2:15pm in the Walmart parking lot on Lake Road, across from the garden center in Ashtabula. They’re men’s size 9, with a red mesh upper, white swoosh, and black laces. The left toe has a small scuff and the insole shows a coffee stain, plus a tiny blue thread stitched along the inside of the tongue for easy identification. I kept them together in a tote by the garden center entrance and would love to get them back to their owner. If these look familiar, tell me the distinguishing features and I’ll arrange a pickup.

Found small gray rabbit with blue collar

I found a small gray rabbit this afternoon around 2:45pm behind the CVS on Lake Road in Ashtabula Harbor. It's about 12 inches long from nose to rump, with soft gray fur, a white belly, and a blue fabric collar with a tiny silver bell that jingles when it hops. It has a little notch in its left ear and a faint scar on its right hind leg—unique features I hope will help. The rabbit seemed a little startled but is otherwise healthy, and I've kept him safe in a carrier with fresh greens and water while I try to help him get back home. I found a brass mid-century lamp with a cream linen shade this afternoon around 3:45pm behind the Harbor Inn on Lake Avenue near the lakefront in Ashtabula. It's about 18 inches tall, unbranded brass stem, with a small dent on the base and a shade with a tiny chip on the rim. The cord shows mild wear but the pull-chain switch works and it lights up fine. No labels or marks, so I’m guessing it’s been part of someone’s living room for years. If this seems familiar, I’m happy to hold onto it for the rightful owner until they can pick it up locally.

I found a vintage coin album this afternoon around 2:30pm tucked under a bench at the Harbor Park gazebo off Lake Road in Ashtabula. The binder is tan leatherette, about the size of a standard ledger, with a bright blue cloth spine and a clear plastic flip inside pages. Inside are coins from the 1960s and 70s, some still in plastic flips, and one page has a tiny brass key taped to the cover beside a handwritten bookmark that says RR Collection. The album shows light water staining on the back and wears that tell you it's been loved for years. If this belongs to someone, I'd love to help return it to the rightful owner.

Found silver locket with initials near the pier

Found a small silver locket this afternoon along Lake Road by Harbor Park, near the Ashtabula Pier. It's about the size of a quarter, polished silver with a tiny heart charm dangling and initials etched on the back ('A.J.'). The latch works, and there’s a light scratch from a breeze by the sidewalk. I picked it up near the bike racks outside the Harbor Market and tucked it into my pocket so it wouldn’t get stepped on.
