Friday evening at 6:45 p.m., I realized one of my sneakers was gone after a jog along the Fox River Trail behind Fox River Mall near Riverside Park in the Appleton-Oshkosh-FDL area. It’s a black sneaker with a white stripe, a little worn from daily runs. I’ve retraced the loop along the river, hoping I kicked it off on a bench or by the playground, but nothing.
