They’re two black velvet chokers, one with a tiny silver charm, and they’ve been a daily staple since graduation. I checked the lobby, stepped back along the riverfront, and circled the nearby cafés, but they didn’t turn up. Losing them stings more than I expected because my sister gave them to me and I’ve worn them every week since. I’m hopeful someone honest picked them up and will see this post.
