I was strolling along City Dock on West Street, Annapolis, around 9:15 PM Friday when I realized my handheld game console and my main console were no longer in my backpack. I double-checked the path along Main Street and the bridge, but the crowd sang a chorus of cicadas too loud to hear a dropped gadget.
