I was at Kerrytown Market & Shops around 6:15 p.m. last Friday, trying on a few ties for an interview, when my two navy silk ties slipped from my bag and disappeared near the bakery counter. I retraced my steps along Main Street toward the farmers market, but the ties were nowhere to be found. They mean a lot to me—one was a gift from my late father, and the other is the only connection I have left to a formal look from my college days. If someone picked them up and kept them safe, I would be grateful beyond words.
