Description
I lost my parrots today around 5:45 p.m. Saturday near Lock 3 Park off East Market Street in Akron. They are two green parrots with bright blue wings and a yellow breast; one is a bit shyer than the other. We were walking from a small cafe toward the plaza when a gust kicked the cage door open and they bolted. I chased them through the crowd and across the parking lot, but the noise and traffic swallowed their colors. My heart is in my throat—I raised these birds like family and I’m terrified they’ll be frightened or lost in the city. Please keep an eye out near parks and storefronts along Market Street.
