Lost something on public transport?

How to track down an item left on a bus, train, tram, or taxi by contacting the right transport operator.

Items left on buses, trains, trams, and taxis around Treasure Coast are usually handed in to the operator's lost property team — the trick is contacting the right one quickly.

  1. Identify the operator. Note the route, line, or company and the rough time. Each operator runs its own lost property process.
  2. Submit a lost property report. Use the operator's online form or phone line as soon as possible; recovered items are logged against your description.
  3. For taxis and rideshare, contact the driver or company directly through your booking or app receipt.
  4. Keep your reference. Save any report number so you can chase it up.
  5. Post a listing. Add a listing for Treasure Coast in case a fellow passenger picked it up.

Lost travel visas near Treasure Coast Square.

I’m Emily Carter. I lost my travel visas somewhere around the Treasure Coast Square on Sunday evening. I was there around 7:15 PM near the food court and the movie theater entrance, then walked to my car and realized they were missing. They’re in a black leather folder with a red stripe and my passport photo attached. I’m anxious because my trip starts in two days and reissuing the documents feels overwhelming. If you found them, please leave a note on the site so I can come get them; I’m deeply grateful for any help.

Lost Student ID on Treasure Coast

On Friday at around 3:15 p.m., I was packing up after a quick study break at the Fort Pierce Downtown Farmers Market, near the marina, when I realized my student ID was missing from my backpack. The card bears my photo, my name, and a blue school lanyard. Without it, I can't access the library or the campus buildings, and a knot tightens in my chest thinking about looming exams and late-night study sessions. Being a student here on the Treasure Coast, Florida, makes this feel urgent. I retraced my steps by the lemonade stand and the row of vendor tents, but the moment I noticed it, it was gone. If someone found it, I’d be grateful to have it back at the campus lost-and-found; it means a lot to me beyond the credit hours.

Lost postcards in Treasure Coast

I lost my postcards while walking the Treasure Coast last Tuesday at around 4:30 PM. They were tucked in a brown leather carry case, left on a bench along the Fort Pierce Riverwalk near the lighthouse, during a stroll by the water. These postcards are from a cross-country trip and hold memories from my grandmother's travels along A1A; they're fragile and meaningful. The sea breeze, gulls, and the memory of family keep returning to me, and I feel hollow without them. Please keep them safe if you happen to find the set.

lost holiday decorations near Riverwalk, Port St. Lucie

I was decorating the yard for the holidays when a gust of wind knocked over a box of decorations and I haven’t seen it since. I last spotted them around 6:30 p.m. last Tuesday in my front yard along Port St. Lucie Boulevard, near the Riverwalk. The box included a string of multicolor lights, a hand-painted wooden sleigh, and a few sentimental ornaments from family trips. It’s strange to wake up without the sparkle they added to the house, and I’m hoping someone picked them up and kept them safe. If they turn up, I’d be grateful to recover them.

Blue plush dinosaur with orange spikes

I lost my bright blue stuffed dinosaur named Spike yesterday afternoon. It's about 12 inches tall, with a soft minky fabric, orange spikes along the back, and a small white belly with an embroidered star. I think I last saw him around 3pm near the Publix on Port St. Lucie Blvd in the St. Lucie West area, right here in the Treasure Coast. This toy is special to my 3-year-old; he clings to it every night and it's been a comfort through a rough week. If anyone found him, I'd really appreciate a message here so we can reunite him with his little buddy.

Silver bracelet with starfish charm and initials

I lost my silver-tone bracelet yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks at Treasure Coast Square, on Port St. Lucie Blvd. It’s a slim chain with a small starfish charm and the initials 'LJ' engraved on the clasp, plus a tiny blue bead tucked by the starfish that’s easy to spot. This bracelet was a gift from my grandmother and it honestly means a lot to me—sentimental value and all that. I’m really hoping someone picked it up and can return it; I’d be forever grateful. If you found it, please drop me a note so we can get it back where it belongs.
