Lost board games near Smoky Hill Museum
I’m Sophie Martinez from Salina, Kansas. I lost a box of board games around 5:45 pm yesterday near the Smoky Hill Museum, right behind the parking lot where we had parked earlier. The games are a family staple—some gifts, others favorites I share with my grandma on Sunday nights. It’s rough losing something with so many memories attached, but I’m hopeful someone picked them up and will leave them at the front desk when they can.
FOUND Equipment for Various Sports in Salina
I was leaving Centennial Park when I spotted a large bag of sports gear sitting by the library entrance, clearly left behind by someone in a hurry. The bag contains a mix of balls, pads, cleats, and even a small portable ladder—enough to outfit a whole team. It looked recently abandoned, and I felt a tug of responsibility thinking about a kid or coach who might be frantic to get it back. I’m posting this to help the owner recognize their gear and reclaim it.
Blue ceramic vase with hand-painted floral pattern
Found this blue ceramic vase this afternoon around 3:45 pm in the plaza behind the Salina Art Center on Santa Fe Ave. It's about 8 inches tall, with a glossy glaze and a hand-painted pink and yellow flower motif. There's a small, barely legible stamp on the bottom that says 'Made in Portugal.' It looks meaningful—maybe it was a gift or a family piece—and I'd love to get it back to its owner. If this sounds like yours, drop me a message in the app with a brief description of the vase's identifying features.
