Lost photographs from a Sacramento road trip

I was packing up after a Sunday stroll along the Sacramento River at sunset, around 6:20 p.m. last week, when I realized a bundle of old photographs was missing. They’re from family trips, a mix from Old Sacramento and the Tower Bridge, with creases and handwritten notes on the back. Those images capture summers and smiles I can’t replace, and they feel like a thread back to my grandmother. I’m anxious and hopeful at the same time, praying a careful passerby picked them up and held onto them. If you’ve seen them, please consider returning them to the area near L Street or the riverfront path by the waterfront.
