Lost: DVDs in Rochester
Tuesday evening around 6:20 p.m., I was leaving the Rochester Public Market when a stack of DVDs slipped from my backpack and disappeared into the crowd near the Rochester Museum & Science Center on East Avenue. The discs are in a blue clamshell case, with a few scuffs and a couple of family favorites I know by heart. I retraced my steps along East Avenue and asked a few vendors, but nothing turned up yet. It would mean the world to me to have these back; if you saw a pile of cases near the museum, please keep an eye out for this post.
Teal travel magazine with compass bookmark
Found a glossy teal-covered travel magazine this afternoon around 2:45pm near the Rochester Public Market on North Union Street. It's a paperback with a slightly dog-eared corner and a coffee stain along the edge of the back cover. Inside, there's a folded color map tucked into the middle and a hand-drawn compass sketch on the front page. The magazine feels well-loved but intact, and I figured someone might be missing it after a stroll through the market. If this belongs to you, I'm happy to hold onto it and arrange a quick meet-up so you can grab it back.
Lost worn paperback copy of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' left on a bench in Highland Park, Rochester.
I lost my old paperback copy of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' while walking around Highland Park in Rochester. It's a bit worn, with the cover fraying at the edges, and I remember setting it down on a bench to tie my shoe. I realized I had left it behind only after I got home. It's really special to me, so I hope someone finds it.
Lost vintage comic book, issue #47 of "Amazing Dreams," near East Avenue Books store in Rochester.
I lost my favorite vintage comic book, issue #47 of "Amazing Dreams," while browsing at the East Avenue Books store in Rochester last Friday. It's in pretty good condition, but it's special to me because it includes some of my favorite childhood stories. If anyone finds it, I would really appreciate your help in getting it back!
