The tote contained a handful of board games—Monopoly, Catan, and a few dice rattling around—and a blue-checked picnic blanket. It looked like someone had forgotten it in a hurry while rushing to catch a bus, so I picked it up and brought it to the Old Market information booth to secure it. I found travel adapters near Old Market in Omaha around 11:40 a.m. on Saturday. A small pouch lay under a bench by the riverfront, and inside were a universal travel adapter and a spare USB-C plug. On Sunday at about 4:17 PM, I was wandering through the Old Market area of Omaha, near the riverfront, when I spotted a small black case tucked behind a bench by the street musicians. I picked it up and checked for any ID, and realized someone must be missing it. Inside was a handheld game device and a console-style controller, with a few scratches that tell me it’s been through a lot of adventures. I asked around at a nearby coffee stand and a couple of passersby, but no one claimed it, so I brought it to the downtown lost-and-found desk at the government center this evening. I hope the owner recognizes it soon.

I was strolling through downtown Omaha this morning around 9:42 AM and found a bundle of document holders tucked under a bench near the brick arches on 13th Street in the Old Market. They’re color-coded—blue, red, and clear—and stuffed with receipts, travel itineraries, and one folder stamped with a Nebraska logo. They clearly belong to someone trying to keep track of important papers, not junk. I found them, kept them safe, and posted here in the hope the owner recognizes their labels and will reclaim them.

Black Korg PitchClip tuner with neon star sticker

I found a black Korg PitchClip guitar tuner clipped to a guitar case near the Orpheum Theater on S 15th St in downtown Omaha this afternoon around 3:15pm. It’s a tiny clip-on tuner with a matte black body and a red LED display that lights up when active. The back has a neon green star sticker, and there’s a small nick along the bottom edge from being bumped by a bag. It’s in good working condition and clearly belongs to a musician who’d been playing nearby. Happy to return it to its owner—if you can describe the sticker or the exact red display brightness, it’s yours.
