Lost stamps near Nebraska State Capitol, Lincoln, 3:15 PM

Yesterday around 3:15 p.m., I realized my stamps were missing while I walked back to my car near the Nebraska State Capitol on K Street. They were tucked in a small red tin inside my tote, a keepsake from my grandmother's old collection. I’d just paused for a photo at the Sunken Garden and then browsed through a few stalls in the Haymarket, and somewhere between there and the Capitol steps they vanished. I feel a mix of foolish and wistful, because those stamps carry a personal story I’m trying to hold onto.
