I was leaving Pete's Coffee near Soda City Market on Main Street around 6:15 p.m. last Friday when I realized my two dog leashes were missing from the passenger seat. I retraced steps along Main Street, past the vendor tents and mural walls, toward the riverfront park. The air was cool and the evening bustle felt suddenly distant as I scanned the sidewalk, hoping they were just tucked under a chair. They’re part of our evening routine, and I’m anxious we won’t find them. If you happened to see them or picked them up, I’d really appreciate any help.
