I found a red-eared slider turtle this afternoon around 3:15 PM near the Resaca de la Palma State Park entrance on Boca Chica Blvd in Brownsville. It's about 3 inches long, with an olive-green carapace and bright yellow striping, and the underbelly is pale yellow with a couple of small dark specks. There’s a small blue paint mark along the left edge of the shell, and the right front toe looks a bit bent from a past scrape. It seemed healthy and curious, poking its head out from a nearby log by the drainage ditch. Found a beige Coach tote this afternoon around 3:45pm in the parking lot behind the CVS on 10th Street, near the Brownsville Town Center. It's pebble-grain leather, about 14 inches wide by 12 inches tall, with gold hardware and a tan shoulder strap. The inner lining is dusty pink, and there’s a small coffee stain near the zipper pocket. A heart-shaped keychain hangs from the zipper pull, and the bottom corners show light wear from daily use. Found beagle mix dog, blue collar

I found this medium-sized beagle mix this afternoon around 4:15pm near Riverfront Park, by the old train depot at 2nd Street and Adams Ave in Brownsville. It has a tan and white coat with a distinctive black patch over its right eye and a white-tipped tail. It's wearing a bright blue nylon collar with a small heart-shaped tag that reads 'Nova.'
