I lost my Student ID this morning while rushing to class. Around 11:15 a.m., after grabbing a quick coffee, I must have left it on the south steps of the Old State Capitol. Without it, I can't ride the bus or access the library, and I feel exposed and anxious about today’s classes. I'm hoping a kind passerby found it and turned it in to the university's lost-and-found before someone uses it for trouble. My red and black Husky tool bag full of tools fell off the back of my Home Depot delivery truck at the intersection of Old Jacksonville Road and Route 4 at approximately 8:45am on 06/12/26. Lost pins near Old State Capitol, Springfield, IL

I lost a small set of pins from my lapel and I can't find them anywhere. It was around 6:45 PM on Tuesday as I walked past the Old State Capitol on Adams Street, heading toward the Lincoln Library, when I noticed they were gone from my gray wool coat. The pins are tiny: one brass circle with blue enamel, and a little silver pin shaped like a maple leaf. I retraced my steps from the cafe outside the capitol to the corner by the park, asking nearby shoppers if someone had seen them, but no one did. They were a gift from my grandmother and they remind me of home; I’m really hoping someone picked them up safe and can reunite them with me.

Black Calvin Klein tuxedo jacket with satin lapels

I lost my black Calvin Klein tuxedo, size 40R, including the matching trousers and a slim bow tie. I last saw it yesterday around 3pm outside the Springfield Grand Theater on Main Street, near the curb by the valet booth. The jacket has satin peak lapels and a faint coffee stain on the left sleeve, plus an embroidered initials 'JAS' in silver thread on the inner lining pocket. It felt like it’s the only formal wear I own for a big event this weekend, and it was a gift from my late grandmother, so I’m really hoping it turns up. Brown beagle mix with red collar

I lost my brown beagle mix yesterday around 3pm near the Riverfront Park gazebo on Jefferson Ave in Springfield. He’s a medium-sized dog, about 25 pounds, with brown fur and a white chest, plus a distinctive white patch on his left hind leg. He wears a bright red collar with a silver heart-shaped tag and a small blue harness with reflective stripes. He answers to the name Milo and is very friendly once he gets to know you, but he’s shy around strangers. My daughter adores him and I’m really worried—this dog is part of our family and has sentimental value to us. If anyone sees him or has him, please reach out; we’d be grateful to reunite him with Milo soon.
