Lost: CDs in Huntington-Ashland, WV

I realized my CDs were missing after hanging out at Pullman Square in downtown Huntington around 4 PM this past Saturday. I had them in a black plastic case while chatting with friends and grabbing coffee, then wandered toward the Marshall University campus and I must have dropped them somewhere along the plaza or on the way home. Those discs are a mix of indie favorites and old road-trip soundtracks, and I’ve been kicking myself all week. If you found them, they would mean the world to me.

lost postcards in Huntington-Ashland

Hi, I’m Lena Carter, and I lost a stack of postcards yesterday in Huntington-Ashland. They’re a small collection from family trips to Europe, with handwritten notes on the backs. I must have left them on a bench near the Pullman Square fountain around 1:30 p.m. last Tuesday. They’re priceless to me because they connect to my grandmother’s travel stories, and I’d be grateful to hear they’re safe.

Lost utensils in Huntington area

Last night around 9:15 p.m., I realized my set of utensils had vanished from the drawer in my Huntington apartment near Pullman Square. The wooden spoon with a nick in the handle, a blue silicone spatula, and a creased metal whisk were in there just an hour earlier; I remember washing them after dinner and then drifting off while the TV hummed in the background. I keep imagining them sitting on the kitchen counter by the window that looks toward the river, waiting to come home. I’m hoping someone found them and tucked them away somewhere safe — I could really use them again for a quick meal after work.

Red Michael Kors handbag with gold hardware near Pullman Square

I lost my red Michael Kors handbag yesterday around 3:15pm near the Starbucks at Pullman Square in Huntington. It's a medium-sized red leather satchel with a detachable crossbody strap, gold-tone hardware, and a small coffee stain on the inside lining. Inside there’s a green polka-dot lining and a pink ribbon keychain I added for luck. It mattered a lot to me—it's a gift from my grandmother and has sentimental value; I really need it back.

Gold-tone pearl drop earrings with compass charm

I lost my gold-tone pearl drop earrings yesterday around 5pm outside the Pullman Square fountain on 4th Avenue in Huntington. They’re about 1 inch long, with a delicate lever-back clasp and tiny freshwater pearls dangling from a slim gold-tone bar. One earring has a tiny compass charm etched on the back of the post, and the pearls have a soft pink tint that catches the light. They were a gift from my grandmother, and they mean a lot to me, so I’m really hoping someone picked them up and can return them.

Yellow-green budgie with blue leg band

I lost my yellow-green budgie yesterday around 3pm near Pullman Square in downtown Huntington. It's a small parakeet, about 5 inches from beak to tail, mostly yellow-green with a cobalt-blue tail and an orange beak. It wears a blue leg band with the code A12 and has a faint white crescent on its left wing. It’s been with me since last year and helps me get through rough days—truly a sentimental companion. The bird was out of its light-blue travel cage and may be stressed, so please keep an eye out near apartments along 7th Street and the riverfront path by Pullman Square.
