I lost Leashes in Houma, Louisiana, United States. I was walking two dogs along Main Street by the Terrebonne Civic Center around 5:20 pm yesterday when I realized my leashes were gone. I have a red nylon leash and a black leather leash, both worn from daily use. I retraced my steps toward Cypress Park and the riverfront but couldn't find them. I last had it around 8:15 p.m. when I was parked by the Terrebonne Parish Library and walking back to my car after a quick bite on Main Street. It's a small, worn blue notebook with a doodle of a terrier on the cover and a few breed cards tucked inside. I retraced my steps along the riverfront, checked the car, and asked a couple of vendors, but the night crowds swallowed it up. It matters to me because it holds notes from a local dog show and a family recipe tied to our beagle. I’m keeping hope alive that someone picked it up by mistake.
