I’m in Hilton Head, SC, and on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. I realized my brooches were missing as I walked through Coligny Plaza toward Coligny Beach Park. The set includes three small gold-tone brooches, one with a tiny ruby center and a pearl accent. They belonged to my grandmother and carrying them feels like carrying a piece of family history, so I swept back along the sidewalk and the sand to retrace my steps. I didn’t want to accept they might be gone for good, so I’m hoping someone found them and will recognize this post.
