I lost my vintage stamp collection yesterday around 3pm in Hampshire. It's kept in a green leather-bound album with a gold embossed label reading 'Hampshire Collection'. Inside are about 120 stamps, mostly UK and US issues, including a rare 1840 Penny Black and a King George V stamp with a small hinge repair. The album was on my desk in the study, and I think I left the house from Winchester High Street toward the Guildhall area, maybe near the coffee shop by WH Smith. This collection was handed down from my grandfather and feels irreplaceable to me; I’d be really grateful to have it back.
