Found: Collars near Nevada Theatre, Nevada City
Hi, I'm Ana Morales. While strolling down Main Street in Nevada City around 2:30 p.m. last Sunday, I found a bundle of dog collars near the entry to the Nevada Theatre. They were laid out on the curb in front of a red brick storefront, varying in size with one reflective strap. I placed them on a nearby bench and stayed nearby for a few minutes, hoping an owner would see this post. It felt good to help a dog find its way back to the person who loves it.
Golden retriever mix with red collar missing
I lost my golden retriever mix, Scout, yesterday around 5pm near Coloma Bakery & Espresso on Main Street in Coloma, Gold Country. He's about 60 pounds, with a bright red collar and a blue bone-shaped name tag, plus a white chest patch and a small gray scar on his left ear. He’s friendly but wary of strangers, so he might head the other way if he gets startled. This dog means a lot to me—he’s been my hiking buddy for years, and I really need him back. If you spot him around Nevada Street near Empire Mine State Park or by Highway 49 by Sutter's Mill, please message me.
