I lost my JBL Charge 4 Bluetooth speaker while biking along the beach in Fort Lauderdale last weekend. It's waterproof and black, with a little bit of sand stuck on it, but otherwise in great condition. I really miss it and would love to have it back!
Leopard gecko found near Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale
I found a leopard gecko this afternoon around 3:15pm wandering along the sidewalk near the Riverwalk on Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale, just outside the Stranahan House, and it’s about 6 inches long from head to tail. It’s sandy yellow with irregular brown spots, and its tail looks a little plump, with a tiny orange spot on its right shoulder and a faint black speck at the base of its tail. It was crawling between a bike rack and a storefront, clearly friendly but a bit jumpy. I scooped it into a small plastic tote with air holes to keep it safe while I search for the owner. I am Mia Rodriguez, and I post this after last Friday night around 9:10 p.m. in Fort Lauderdale. I left a friend's condo on Las Olas Boulevard and wandered to the nearby park area by Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, and somewhere along the way my handheld gaming device and a small console disappeared from my backpack. The loss hits hard; that little machine carries memories of late-night sessions with friends and quiet rides home.
