On Sunday at 2:35 p.m., I was strolling the Daytona Beach Boardwalk near the Bandshell, trying to snap some casual photos for a friend's album. A gust knocked my tote, and I realized my folder of photographs was missing as I reached the arcade. The folder holds prints from last summer—portraits of my grandmother and a seaside sunset that can’t be recreated. I retraced the boardwalk and the souvenir stands, but I didn’t see it.
