Found pocket watch in Danville, VA
Yesterday at 4:15 p.m. I found a pocket watch on Main Street near Riverfront Park in Danville. It looks old, with a brass case and a worn leather strap that bears the marks of years of use. I paused there in the fading light, listening for a ticking signal that might reveal its owner, and I felt a little warmth knowing I might reunite someone with a piece of memory. It’s been tucked safely in a small box at my place, waiting for the rightful owner to reach out on the site.
