I lost my prescription glasses while walking my dog near Freedom Park in Charlotte. They have a distinctive brown tortoise shell frame and are typically kept in an orange case. I took them off to look at my phone and must have accidentally left them on a bench. If anyone finds them, I'd greatly appreciate it as they are vital for my day-to-day activities.
Found vintage compass pendant on leather cord
I found a vintage brass compass pendant on a dark brown leather cord this afternoon around 3:15 pm outside the EpiCentre entrance on Trade Street in Uptown Charlotte. It's about an inch across, and the brass shows a worn patina with a tiny chip in the glass that catches the light. On the back there's an engraving of the initials KP and a small red thread tied near the clasp. Found hats in Charlotte, NC
I found these hats this morning near the entrance of the NASCAR Hall of Fame on South Tryon Street, Charlotte, around 8:10 a.m. today. There were three hats: a red baseball cap, a gray knit beanie, and a wide-brim sun hat. They looked like someone had hurried away and left them behind, and I set them on a bench by the hall’s glass doors in case the owner wandered back. They seemed to matter to someone who made a quick stop, and I hope the rightful owner sees this.
