Lost sculptures in downtown Birmingham

Yesterday afternoon, around 4:45 p.m., I realized my two small sculptures were missing from my workspace near Railroad Park in downtown Birmingham. The pieces are bronze, about a foot tall, one a lean figure reaching upward, the other a seated musician with a carved instrument. I had stepped out to fetch coffee at a cafe on 5th Avenue and came back to an empty shelf under the skylight. They are my lifelong project, the last residency I completed before the exhibit, and losing them feels like losing a part of my studio. I am hopeful someone will recognize the signs and return them to the community who appreciates them.
